The Supply Chain team in Stavanger provides a full range of services including “Rig Direct.”  We are experts in material design, pipe management, inventory management and offshore preparation.
We organize international logistics, storage, manufacturing and inspection of OCTG and accessories.  We also supply complete pipe management, tracking and traceability services that allow customers to keep track of their inventories and update their service conditions. The Global Trainee – Supply Chain will report directly to the Supply Chain Norway Manager.

Requirements:

• Qualifications: Undergraduate Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or any other related discipline.
• Job Experience: less than 4 years
• Passion for Industrial business and Oil & Gas
• Positive attitude and an ambition to succeed within a Supply Chain role
• Curious
• Tenacious
• Leadership skills
• Good team player
• Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
• Willingness to travel
• Thrives in a dynamic environment and effectively adapts to change
• Good knowledge of Microsoft office applications (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
• Knowledge of Power BI is advantageous

 

The successful candidate will take part in the Tenaris Global Trainee Programme.  The programme is our strategic development tool that aims to build up junior professionals with a strong industrial background with potential to become the future Tenaris leaders.


Tenaris Global Trainee Programme for Graduates combines classroom training, e-learning courses, practical on-the-job experience and you will work on unique projects during the programme.  The Global Trainee will participate in the Tenaris University Induction Camp (TUIC), together with other Global Trainees from different Countries worldwide for a month in Argentina. These weeks are a great opportunity for networking, learning about the company’s fundamentals, working as a team and seeing some beautiful areas in Argentina.  You will experience a working mill, where you can see the manufacturing process first-hand.
