Experienced Marine engineer?
Job Description
- Lead marine T&I interface work (meetings & MoM, handle actions/requests in interface software, ensure actions/requests are followed up and executed internally and externally in a timely manner).
- Follow up subcontractors with respect to T&I scope of work
- Ensure responsibilities are covered by subcontractors’ contract and execution with respect to T&I related activities and requirements
- Follow up on site with respect to load out operation work (including preparations and finalization work)
- Discipline check of marine manuals and procedures for load out and inshore lifting operations
- Structural design and calculations for temporary structure used in relation to marine operations as applicable
- Construction yard support, follow up and communication (yard preparations for marine activities)
Qualification Requirements
- Engineer Bachelor/Master Degree
- Minimum 5-10 years experience
- Good knowledge of rules and regulations for marine operations (e.g. DnV-OS-H101 – VMO standard)
- Good knowledge of T&I Contractor work with respect to offshore lifting and installation of topsides and jackets/piles, including interface experience.
- Knowledge of yard inshore marine operations (load out and lifting).
- Knowledge of performing hand calculations to support and assess established solutions with respect to structural integrity
- Have good communication skills and multidiscipline understanding
- Have a cooperative working attitude
- Ability to work independently and thorough as well as ability to work in team
- Be systematic, accurate and independent
- Have a high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements
- Be proactive, seeking advice and share own experiences with others
- Communicate well in English - both oral and in writing
