We are looking for a Commissioning manager - for a project in Dubai
We are recruiting for redeployment project for the Baleine Field in Côte d’Ivoire.
Altera Infrastructure has been selected by Eni and its partner Petroci for using the Voyageur Spirit on Baleine Field in Côte d’Ivoire.
The Voyageur Spirit will undergo upgrade and life extension work in Dubai, to be ready for a firm operating period of 15 years on Baleine.
Job Description
The Commissioning Manager takes over mechanically complete systems and is accountable for delivering the FPSO to Operations ready for a flawless start-up, with all its technical systems ready to operate. The Commissioning Manager cooperates with the Project Management Team to jointly ensure achievement of project objectives.- Plan, organize and lead commissioning of all systems on board the facility.
- Co-ordinate commissioning schedule with overall Project Schedule
- Establish the commissioning management system, tools and plans.
- Lead the Commissioning Team and involved suppliers’ representatives.
- Promote HSS&E awareness.
- Take the necessary actions when deviations or nonconformities are found.
- Document lessons learned.
- Advise on health and safety during commissioning.
- Agree mechanical completion schedules that match the needs of commissioning.
- Monitor/overview mechanical completion in order to prepare for commissioning.
- Coordinate supplier commissioning plans.
- Ensure spares, consumables, equipment and tools for commissioning are available.
- Ensure supplier callouts.
- Coordinate and supervise commissioning issues between suppliers, packages, yard etc.
- Liaise with suppliers, package suppliers and the shipyard.
- Monitor the formal quality and ensure asset is safe to operate.
- Write/execute commissioning procedures.
- Review yard Mechanical Completion, Documentation, Commissioning and other relevant aspects as required for Operation to hand over each system as per agreed acceptance criteria.
- Coordinate and ensure correct quality of first fill on systems and equipment. (i.e. Lubes, hydraulic fluids, heating-/cooling medium, chemicals, etc).
- Ensure key drawings, e.g. P&IDs, are marked up As Built.
- Coordinate handover to Operations as per agreed procedure.
- Recording of Lessons Learned
- Status reporting.
- Formal demobilisation of commissioning team at end of project
Qualification Requirements
- Technical certificate or equivalent minimum in Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 15 years of experience within commissioning in large offshore projects.
- Willingness to be stationed offshore with relevant offshore certificates.
- Leadership, management and interpersonal skills.
- Good understanding of risk management.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills applied to a multi-disciplined project team.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, including report writing and presentations.
- Flexibility.
- Problem-solving skills
