Second Engineer
Our client is currently seeking a Second Engineer to join their team. If you have experience in marine engineering and possess intermediate English skills, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
Position: Second Engineer
Employment Type: Offshore
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Chief Engineer in managing and maintaining all machinery and equipment on board.
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of machinery systems.
- Oversee the operation of engine room systems and auxiliary equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and spare parts inventory.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Second Engineer or similar role on board ships.
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining marine machinery and equipment.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Intermediate English proficiency, as part of the interview will be conducted in English.
- Relevant certifications and licenses required.
