SURF Engineer
In this role, you will provide engineering expertise and technical leadership for developing digital solutions for both project evaluation and field practical activities, both onshore and offshore. You will work with internal and external stakeholders, including our digital science team, instrumentation hardware team and SURF area to deliver asset integrity activities.

Responsibilities
As a SURF Engineer, your responsibilities will be to:
Manage the development, implementation and assurance of digital solutions involving structural engineering, sensors, monitoring equipment and data analysis related to reliable and safe operation of subsea umbilicals, flexible risers and flowlines, and steel pipes.
Work with integrity assessment and Lifetime extension, interpreting applicable codes, following methodologies for identify failure modes, and provide recommendations
Deliver Translate client needs into product requirements for development
Contribute to the digitalisation of work processes and data evaluation,
Communicate with customers in different countries, define and clarify scope, present results in relation to the work performed.
Requirements
To be able to perform your responsibilities, you probably need:
3-5 years of professional experience
BSc or MSc in Marine, mechanical/naval/civil engineering, Engineering, or similar
Previous experience with SURF projects, having contact with O&G companies will be a plus
Experience with subsea systems, preferably flexible risers pipes, umbilical’s and/or steel catenary risers
Offshore experience will be a plus
Python programming, Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel), and PowerBI
Previous experience with flexible riser global dynamic analysis of flexible risers (including fatigue) with Orcaflex or similar software; local analysis of flexible pipes and subsea umbilicals is considered a plus
SGSS ANP regulation
Knowledge of technical specs for design and qualification (API 17J, API 17B, ISO 13628, IOGP and others)
Willingness to travel nationally, internationally and offshore Candidate Profile We would also like to see that:
