Senior Control Systems Engineer - Coventry, West Midlands

As a Senior Control Systems Engineer you will be in charge of systems design. Working with cross functional engineering teams on a daily basis you will be supporting projects from concept through to testing and delivery. This means you will have a variety of responsibilities from the design phase which will include: 

Key responsibilities:

• Liasing with customers and interpreting their requirements translating into designs.
• Having an inovative mindset to ensure customer requirments are met.  
• Providing top level designs and ensuring they get delivered by the team efficiently.
• Supporting the technicians with assembly and testing of designs.
• Windows software design in C++.
• PLC software design in Siemens TIA Portal.
• The ability to use EPLAN for Electrical design.

It will be an advantage if you have:

• An Engineering Degree or qualification at the same level. 
• Experience using communication protocols such as EthernetIP/ProfiNet/Profibus ect. 
• Experience integrating software with control systems
• Experience of fault finding on electrical and electronic systems. 
• The ability to communicate at both a technical and project level to all stakeholders.
