As a Site Manager, you will have the opportunity to oversee all aspects of site management, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will manage utility-scale Solar PV and Battery Storage projects, coordinate with various stakeholders, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Key Responsibilities:

  • On-site management of utility-scale Solar PV and Battery Storage projects.
  • Plan and manage all phases of the construction lifecycle from initiation to completion.
  • Collaborate with the Design team to ensure buildability.
  • Evaluate tenders from sub-contractors and place orders.
  • Ensure projects align with agreed-upon designs.
  • Communicate with stakeholders and deliver weekly project progress reports.
  • Develop and adhere to the project programme.
  • Collaborate with the rest of the team.
  • Ensure project quality meets company standards.
  • Maintain good relationships with landowners.
  • Drive the project through to completion.
  • Ensure the highest HSQE standards are always maintained on-site and in compliance with UK HSE and CDM regulations.
  • Timely preparation of site HSE progress and quality reporting.
  • Coordination of subcontractors and all on-site activities.
  • Manage materials logistics and deliveries on-site.
  • Interface management between stakeholders including: ICP subcontractors, landowners, DNOs, clients, etc.

Skills Required:

  • Previous experience as Site Manager on utility-scale solar PV projects (20MW+) is highly desirable.
  • Experience of constructing ‘Tracker’ mounting structures a plus.
  • SMSTS trained.
  • Black CSCS card preferable.
  • Strong preference for NEBOSH Health and Safety Management for Construction (UK).
  • First Aid trained a plus.
  • Fluent in English
  • Self-starter with a commitment to self-development and a passion for renewable energy.
  • Flexible – the role will require managing a number of sites, staying locally for the construction phase.
  • Desire to work in an international Company.
