MDE is seeking experienced electricians to join a key client of ours working on large-scale solar projects. This role involves the installation, retrofitting, testing, and maintenance of industrial solar systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, test, and maintain solar PV systems, including associated electrical infrastructure.
- Work with switchgears, transformers, and protection relays to ensure system reliability and efficiency.
- Perform cable installation, jointing, and terminations for industrial electrical systems.
- Conduct system testing and commissioning to verify functionality and compliance.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with electrical systems and components.
- Ensure compliance with electrical and safety standards.
- Collaborate with project teams to meet deadlines and project specifications.
- Travel across various UK sites as required.
Key Requirements:
- Level 3 Qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent).
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
- Full UK driving license is essential.
