A global engineering company with a strong reputation for quality and innovation is seeking a number of General Operators to join its manufacturing team in North Somerset. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with production experience to step into a stable, team-oriented role in a clean and high-spec manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support day-to-day manufacturing processes in a high-precision environment
• Operate in line with aerospace-level quality and compliance standards
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the production floor
• Promote and uphold Health & Safety regulations

   

Skills & Experience Required:

• Prior experience in a production or manufacturing setting
• Basic machine operation experience preferred (e.g., milling, turning, CNC)
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and follow detailed instructions
• Understanding of tolerances, torque, and precision measurements
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles (5S, Material Flow)
• Comfortable working to quality procedures and standardised processes
• Safety-first mindset with a methodical approach
• A collaborative, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn

   

This position reports directly to the Line Manager and plays a vital role in a progressive and supportive manufacturing team.
