Installer Job Description
Electrical Installation Renewable Energy Projects
Role
We are hiring an installer to join a growing team working on commercial solar projects and public sector environments such as hospitals care homes and other NHS facilities. You will support installation activities on site ensuring work is completed safely professionally and in line with project quality standards.
Responsibilities
• Install solar equipment including panels brackets and associated electrical components
• Assist with cable containment cable pulling and general electrical installation tasks
• Read and follow site drawings and instructions from the site supervisor
• Maintain tidy work areas and follow all site safety rules
• Communicate progress clearly with supervisors and raise issues when needed
Requirements
• Experience working on commercial electrical installations or commercial solar
• ECS card preferred
• Full United Kingdom driving licence
• Must use own vehicle to travel to and from sites
• Comfortable with UK travel and staying away when required
Package
• Food allowance of forty five pounds per day when working away
• Mileage paid at thirty five pence per mile after the first thirty minutes of travel
• Door to door pay after the first thirty minutes of travel
• Hotels or Airbnb accommodation arranged and paid for when staying away
