The Role
You’ll be responsible for producing high-quality, persuasive bids, tenders, and proposals that showcase the company’s capabilities and help win new business. Working closely with technical teams and senior management, you’ll turn complex information into clear, compelling submissions - supporting the business’s ambitious growth plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Write, edit, and coordinate professional bids, proposals, and tender documents
- Identify and manage opportunities through public procurement portals
- Collaborate with technical and commercial teams to gather and refine bid content
- Tailor proposals to specific client requirements and project scopes
- Manage multiple deadlines and priorities with accuracy and attention to detail
- Maintain a central library of standard responses and supporting documents
- Support the creation of case studies and marketing content
- Review and refine bid processes to improve success rates
About You
- 2–3 years’ experience in bid writing, proposals, or tender coordination, ideally within construction, utilities, or energy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills — able to present complex ideas simply
- Excellent organisation, time management, and attention to detail
- Confident working to tight deadlines and across multiple projects
- Familiarity with public and private sector tender processes
- Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
