Company Overview

MDE are pleased to be working with a market leading consultant, designer, installer and servicer of renewable energy systems nationwide in the lookout for a Junior Electrician to join the growing team. The company aim to reduce carbon emissions by 80% for their customers. They are looking for a candidate who has a keen interest in going into renewables or has prior experience. The role will include working on both domestic and commercial properties.

Role Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work on renewable energy systems, carrying out the installation and testing. The systems will include Solar PV, Air Source Heat Pumps and Ground Source Heat Pumps. Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting on the installation and testing of renewable energy systems.
• Working on repairs, controls set up, fault finding and commissioning.
• Occasional involvement on groundworks and other stages of renewable installations.
• Liaising with the management team to plan equipment, tools, parts and timing needed for the general electrical installations.
• Keeping management team up to date in all installs and any issues with projects.

Role Requirements

• Drivers licence (no more than 3 points)
• 18^th Edition
• 2391, 2392 or 2394/5
• City and Guilds Level 3 or equivalent
• AM2 Assessment
• CSCS or ECS Card
• Desire to learn more about renewable energy systems
