MDE are pleased to be represent one of the South-Easts leading renewable energy providers in the search for a Solar Installer. Our client specialises in a range of technologies including Solar PV, Solar Thermal, Batteries and Hybrid PV-T.

Role Responsibilities

• Implementing roof-mounted renewable energy systems
• Collaborating with the team to deliver top-quality roof installations that meet project specifications and deadlines
• Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and schematics
• Adhering to industry regulations and site-specific safety protocols
• Coordinating with project design and survey teams
• Maintaining open lines of communication with the management
• Documenting and distributing project photos to relevant parties
• Filling out and submitting project process forms
• Conducting on-site assessments.
• Assess and design the roof layout, remove roof tiles/slates, and prepare the surface
• Secure roof anchors and dress appropriately for weather conditions
• Transport solar panels and rails to the roof using scaffolding
• Attach mounting rails and secure solar panels in place
• Interconnect the panels according to design and leave connecting cables in the roof space.

Essential

• Experience installing all slate/tile types.
• Battening, lead and general.
• Experience managing small teams and interacting with clients.
• Customer service experience.
• Professional and polite manner.
• Proactive and self-motivated.
