Role Overview
Our client are seeking a qualified electrician with experience in both residential and commercial settings to join their growing solar team. This position will require the ability to travel and occasionally stay overnight for out-of-town jobs (accommodation and meals will be provided).. While previous solar PV installation experience is a plus, it is not required as on-the-job training will be provided. They are looking for someone who is passionate about renewable energy and has a positive, can-do attitude. Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach are essential, as is the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The ability to think on your feet and problem solve is also important. A hands-on approach and willingness to assist in various aspects of the installation process is necessary.
Essential Qualifications
- City and Guilds 18th Edition Qualification
- City and Guilds Inspection and Testing Qualification
- Solar PV Qualification within the last 5 years
- Electric Vehicle Charging Qualification within the last 5 years
- Full driving licence
- Use of own hand and power tools
