MDE are pleased to be representing one of the fastest growing renewable energy providers in the South in their search for a Project Manager to join their team.

Having operated for over 10 years, our client specialises in providing solutions such as Solar PV, Heat Pumps, Biomass and EV Chargers to customers in both the domestic and commercial market. Our client are at the forefront of the nations move to net-zero and have a reputation that means the majority of their work comes from client recommendations.

Role Overview

The Project Manager will oversee teams of installers to ensure that all installations completed are up to a high standard and meets regulations for customer service and safety. This role will provide the successful candidate to work in an exciting and fast-paced environment, leading a team of skilled installers and to be a part of the growth and success of an already thriving company. Some of the key responsibilities are as follows:

• Coordinate and assign tasks among team members to execute work orders.
• Ensure adequate supply of materials and parts by managing inventory needs.
• Assist in planning installations, manage workloads, and delegate tasks.
• Complete Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
• Establish a safe working environment through safety inspections and ensure site safety for the entire team.
• Collaborate with designers to support overall project design and costing.
• Recruit, monitor, evaluate, motivate, and develop the teams performance.
• Provide customer service functions as needed, including addressing inquiries, resolving disputes, and interacting with customers.

Candidate Requirements

• At least 4 years experience working onsite with electrical installations
• A proven supervisor/leader
• Great communication skills - Oral and Written
• Good management of workload
• Fantastic organisational skills
• Full UK Driving licence

Fully qualified electrician (desirable)
