Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and resourceful Project Manager who can efficiently manage and supervise several renewable energy installation projects for our clients. This role demands a hands-on approach and offers diverse and engaging responsibilities.
As a key member of our team, you will work closely with other Project Managers and report directly to the Operations Manager. We are looking for a team player who thrives in collaborative environments and is passionate about personal growth and achieving targets.
- Conduct site visits for both commercial and residential properties as needed.
- Identify suitable products that meet clients specific requirements.
- Collaborate with the Design & Technical team to ensure successful project delivery.
- Communicate with the Buyer to manage pricing, quotes, and supplier allocations.
- Present recommendations to clients and answer their technical queries.
- Maintain safety standards on our sites to provide a secure working environment.
- Recognize and document any site-specific risks that may cause installation issues.
- Communicate with suppliers regarding equipment orders and deliveries.
- Organize installations by leveraging Project Coordinator, in-house electricians, and the supply chain.
- Plan installations with attention to access, lift plans, and waste disposal.
- Ensure compliance with site regulations and installation procedures.
- Provide periodic reports, audits, and feedback to management on site work, business activities, and forecasting.
- Propose innovative solutions to challenges.
- Support the annual audits by NICEIC, MCS, and ISOs.
- Attend training and events to enhance awareness and job knowledge.
- Update the companys Client Relationship Management system by submitting detailed and regular reports, including a weekly pipeline update.
- Partner with Approved Suppliers & Contractors.
Skills Required
- Project management experience.
- Ability to identify and capitalise on others strengths
- Great customer service experience.
- Experience in a construction environment (renewables or electrical experience is a bonus)
- Located in Kent (or close proximity)
- Full drivers licence
