Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate project opportunities from a technical standpoint.
• Provide in-depth technical support to the Head of UK Sales and Sales Managers.
• Calculate yields of PV power plants and manage engineering works.
• Conduct site visits and compile detailed reports.
• Organize and lead kick-off and status meetings.
• Define and review technical and commercial project requirements with project managers and clients.
• Communicate technical details with customers and suppliers.
• Coordinate with suppliers on technical specifications and offers.
• Collaborate closely with the Project Management and Construction Team.
• Act as the main point of contact for technical communication and coordination during the sales phase.
• Interpret Employer Requirements accurately.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure necessary technical support.
• Review and distribute client-supplied data packages.
• Collect relevant inputs from internal and external stakeholders to support the sales process.
• Collaborate with colleagues in layout design, purchasing, project development, project management, and subsidiaries.
• Uphold company policies, including the anti-bribery policy and QHSE policy.

Skills were after:

Essential:

• Enthusiasm for decarbonization and renewable energy.
• Technical education background (e.g., electrical engineering) or vocational training as an electrical engineer.
• Experience with PV Syst and AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in English and strong IT skills, including mastery of MS Office products.
• Several years of professional experience in electrical engineering.
• Several years of experience in project management.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and problem-solving skills.
• Strong relationship-building skills with stakeholders at various levels.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a focus on practical, high-quality work.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Structured and well-organized work approach.
• Willingness to travel (up to 20%) and a valid driving license.

Desirable:

• Experience within the renewable industry, including Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
• Experience with planning and implementing electrical and network systems.
