Portfolio Manager O&M - England

My client is a world market leading company in the development, engineering, financing, construction, operation & maintenance of large scale solar photovoltaic projects. Theyve installed and connected over 1.6GWp of Solar Projects globally. My client is one of the largest O&M providers in Europe. In the UK, my client has an excellent year on year track record and are a market leader in the quality and diversity of services we offer.

Theyre currently for an O&M Portfolio Manager, in order to facilitate the growth in our business without compromising the quality and responsiveness of our services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Day to day management of a portfolio of large-scale solar farms throughout UK
• Design and scheduling of annual preventive maintenance plans
• Dispatching teams for reactive maintenance
• Troubleshooting of electrical and communications faults
• Managing Spare Parts
• Managing Subcontractors
• Managing H&S obligations and reporting
• Managing training requirements
• Reporting of activities to client and management
• Manage fruitful relationships with all contractual parties.
• Ensuring O&M contractual obligations are fulfilled.
• Development of growth opportunities, review of new O&M contracts and market research
• Resolving disputes in an efficient and beneficial to all parties involved manner.
• Insurance claims and contracts management
• Financial review and forecasting
• Costs optimizations
• Contribution to PAC, IAC and FAC successful completion

Skills required:

• Electrical Engineering University degree or similar
• 3 years previous experience within renewables industry in O&M, Asset Management and Design or project Management.
• Experience with supervising teams of technicians
• Good knowledge on a technical level of PV systems and their components
• Experience with contracts negotiations and contracts management
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Structured and well-organized method of work
• Microsoft Office, advanced user
• CRM/ERP software experience
