My client is seeking a forward-thinking and technically adept Technical Asset Manager to join their Technical Asset Management Team. This role is your chance to play a pivotal role in liaising with maintenance contractors, managing site visits, and providing insightful reports on the technical conditions of solar PV systems. Picture yourself onboarding assets to monitoring portals, transforming O&M data into actionable insights, and ensuring accurate and timely technical reporting. Your contribution will directly impact the growth and sustainability of renewable energy solutions across Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a vital link between maintenance contractors and our clients solar PV systems.
- Coordinate site visits and meticulously manage reporting on the technical status of solar PV systems.
- Craft technical and commercial proposals, outlining necessary remedial works, rationale, and costs.
- Collaborate closely with the monitoring team to identify and schedule essential remedial actions.
- Handle a substantial volume of system data derived from O&M manuals, seamlessly integrating systems into monitoring platforms.
- Act as a technical intermediary between our development and asset management teams, ensuring alignment with requirements and facilitating system information exchange.
- Establish and refine portfolio governance, processes, and systems for service delivery.
- Oversee supply chain procurement, from tender document development to contract negotiation and quality assurance.
- Mitigate risk within portfolios and assess potential business implications.
- Manage the onboarding of new systems, offering clear reporting to the Executive Board.
- Supervise the Asset Management Technical and Commercial teams, setting and managing
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Enthusiasm for renewable energy, solar PV, and EV technology.
- Strong commercial acumen.
- Track record of managing multi-asset PV portfolios to rigorous technical and commercial standards.
- Demonstrated team management experience.
- Familiarity with European markets.
- Proficiency in utilizing software solutions for data management.
- Robust industry network (DNOs / MOP / Contractors).
