The ideal candidate:
MDE is seeking a Head of Marketing with a strong digital marketing background and a passion for renewables. The ideal candidate should boast a proven track record of overseeing the entire marketing spectrum with the guidance of senior management. This includes crafting comprehensive strategies, spearheading content creation, executing SEO initiatives, and overseeing a small in-house marketing team.

The chosen candidate will need to showcase a strong understanding of the interplay between marketing efforts, lead generation, and sales conversion. Moreover, they must emphasise their entrepreneurial spirit, recognising the vital importance of aligning marketing endeavours with the organisations overarching mission: advancing the decarbonisation of energy consumption through more intelligent energy utilisation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Pioneering a brand-new in-house Marketing Department and strategy from the bottom up
• Generate high-quality leads for all products/services across the business, attracting organic traffic through innovative ideas and initiatives
• Assemble a dynamic Marketing Team with the addition of a Marketing Assistant
• Enhance footfall through SEO optimisation, ensuring mobile-friendly and accessible website content
• Demonstrate social media mastery, creating tailored content and targeted ads

Requirements for Success:

• 5years+ experience in marketing roles and a proven track record in lead generation
• Experience creating and delivering comprehensive marketing strategies, including market research and target planning to achieve business objectives
• Energy to hit the ground running with a hands on approach!
• Experience using HubSpot is desirable
