The ideal candidate:
MDE is seeking someone who not only possesses a deep understanding of deal creation within the construction or solar energy sectors but also demonstrates exceptional soft skills. This candidate should excel in collaborating with cross-functional teams, be adept at conducting client meetings to unearth their specific needs, and exhibit strong initiative and problem-solving capability.

The successful candidate will have a knack for drafting and negotiating contracts, coupled with their ability to ensure adherence to obligations. Exceptional verbal communication and negotiation skills will enable them to not only lead or support in presenting proposals to clients but also serve as the main point of contact during negotiations.



Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to prepare bids and tenders.
  • Conduct meetings with clients and internal teams (sales, engineering, finance) to understand client requirements.
  • Coordinate with project management for budgeting, negotiation, and agreement on delivery timelines and payment terms.
  • Draft and negotiate contracts with clients, with support from company accountants for sign-off.
  • Maintain contract details, monitor compliance with obligations, and serve as the main client contact during contract negotiation phase.



Requirements for Success:

  • Proficiency and familiarity with transaction development in the building or renewable energy sector.
  • Understanding of the formulation of legal paperwork relevant to the construction or solar energy projects.
  • Robust management aptitudes.
  • Capacity to exercise self-motivation coupled with adeptness in resolving challenges.
  • Exceptional oral communication and bargaining proficiencies.
