Salary & Benefits: £37,000-£42,000 + bonus + benefits.

The ideal candidate:
MDE is seeking an individual who can thrive in a central role within the finance team and is adept at engaging with stakeholders and managing the financial reporting for a diverse portfolio of renewable energy assets. Beyond traditional accounting, they should be skilled in regulatory reporting, adept at navigating commercial regulations, and committed to enhancing systems and processes that drive performance improvements.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee client financial management, including bookkeeping, preparation of monthly reports, management accounts, and forecasting.
- Manage and control client budgeting, accounts payable, credit functions, and ensure compliance with VAT and tax computations.
- Facilitate client audits, handle queries, and ensure adherence to OFGEM reporting requirements.
- Drive commercial improvements and oversee the overall administration of projects.
- Represent the company in client meetings as required and consistently follow internal protocols.
Requirements for Success:
- Qualified/Part-qualified CIMA/ACCA, or equivalent
- Experience in bookkeeping, management account preparation, and VAT.
- Renewable energy experience a bonus
- A natural eye for detail and passion for clean energy!
