Job Title: Financial Analyst - Renewable Energy Asset Management
Location: London, UK
Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 DOE, + 33days holiday (including bank hols) + private medical healthcare + EV scheme

The ideal candidate:
MDE is looking for an individual to play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of a varied renewable energy portfolio. You will be responsible for financial modelling, analysis, reporting, and strategic recommendations to ensure the optimal performance and profitability of our clients assets. The ideal candidate will be mission-driven and motivated by a fast-paced, collaborative working environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain robust financial models for evaluating renewable energy project performance and cash flows.
- Conduct scenario analyses and sensitivity testing to assess potential impacts on project economics.
- Assist in preparing annual budgets and long-term financial forecasts for renewable energy assets.
- Monitor actual performance against budgeted targets, providing thorough variance analysis.
- Generate regular, insightful financial reports for internal stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accuracy.
Requirements for Success:
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Masters degree or relevant certifications a plus).
- Experience in financial analysis, preferably within the renewable energy sector or asset management.
- Proficiency in financial modelling, valuation techniques, and Excel.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with the capability to convey financial insights to diverse stakeholders.
