MDE are recruiting for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join a market leading manufacturing business. You will be supporting production with your electrical, mechanical and hydraulic skills, tending to reactive breakdowns of complex machinery (presses, robotics, conveyors etc) and undertaking planned PPM activities to minimise down time, increase output and quality, and reduce costs.
The primary responsibility of the Maintenance Engineer is maintenance and repair of manufacturing facilities, associated infrastructure and manufacturing equipment.
This will be coKnducted under the direction of the Engineering Manager, in order to ensure safe, timely and efficient operation of all plant machinery and equipment.
Vacancy Requirements:
- Extensive experience in electrical and mechanical engineering in an industrial engineering/manufacturing environment
- Familiar with Electrics, Mechanics, Hydraulics, Pneumatics and PLC controlled systems
- To demonstrate knowledge of plant operation principles, methods, and processes.
- The ability to handle day-to-day and strategic issues, operational requirements, and management of a manufacturing facility.
- Fault finding and corrective actions
- Attending to reactive breakdowns and PPM
- To demonstrable analytical skills with sound problem solving ability
- Appreciation for TPM across production.
