Programme Manager - Sustainable Business - London

MDE are proud to be partnering with a specialist consultancy based in London in sourcing a Programme Manager to join their Zero Carbon team. This company is not like most of the larger consultancies in the market, their whole business ethos is to deliver projects that benefit both their clients and the wider communities and have won multiple awards to back up the superb work they do.

As a Net Zero Programme Manager you will be working with some of the biggest retailers in the UK to help them deliver a more sustainable way to manage and develop their businesses. You will be working with your own team of project managers, overseeing the monitoring current carbon footprints as well as working with your clients senior management teams to help them deliver a long-term sustainable strategy to achieve a carbon neutral business and B-Corp status.

The successful Programme Manager will have previous experience of running their own team and working in a collaborative way to complete carbon footprint reports and then looking for opportunities to reduce this to meet their corporate targets, incorporating science-based targets. You will then oversee the project life cycle reporting back to Boards and management teams to ensure that work is delivered on time and budget.

Due to the seniority and nature of this role it is essential that you have previous experience in managing a team working with Science Based Targets, GHG Inventories, developing Net Zero plans for businesses and delivering these. Although this position is being offered as remote working you will need to be able to attend the office 1 day per week (London).
