Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the site-based Quality team to provide exceptional quality support for new and existing products/processes.
- Ensure the implementation of Companys Health and Safety and Environmental Standards across the site.
- Thoroughly implement IATF 16949 across the site, ensuring all colleagues are fully competent to deliver its requirements.
- Collaborate with Design and NPI teams to establish robust processes for Future Model Quality (FMQ) and effective work instructions.
- Establish robust processes for Current Model Quality (CMQ) in coordination with Manufacturing, MP&L, and other onsite teams.
- Promptly coordinate the resolution of 8Ds, ensuring root causes are identified and corrective actions implemented.
- Develop and implement plans to reduce the sites Cost of Non-Quality.
- Drive Continuous Improvement activities within the business.
- Lead, train, and develop a team of Quality Professionals to provide exceptional service to the site.
- Cultivate a genuine Quality Culture and drive for Continuous Improvement within the business.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven leadership skills with a track record of effective team management.
- Highly effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across functions.
- Detailed working knowledge of IATF 16949 / ISO9001.
- Familiarity with automotive QA practices such as APQP, 8D, PPAP, FMEA AAR.
- Proactive, assertive, resilient, and enthusiastic approach to quality management.
- Computer literate with strong analytical skills.
