£35-£48k + bonuses

6am - 6pm, 4 on 4 off shift pattern (4days), Attendance Bonus, Company Bonus, Overtime available.

MDE are recruiting for a Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a global market leader in plastic injection moulded, vinyl dip moulded and metal components business. You will be supporting production with your electrical, mechanical and hydraulic skills, tending to reactive breakdowns of complex machinery (presses, robotics, conveyors etc) and undertaking planned PPM activities to minimise down time, increase output and quality, and reduce costs.

The primary responsibility of the Maintenance Engineer is maintenance and repair of manufacturing facilities, associated infrastructure and manufacturing equipment.
This will be conducted under the direction of the Engineering Manager, in order to ensure safe, timely and efficient operation of all plant machinery and equipment.

Vacancy Requirements:

• Extensive experience in electrical and mechanical engineering in an industrial engineering/manufacturing environment
• To demonstrate knowledge of plant operation principles, methods, and processes.
• The ability to handle day-to-day and strategic issues, operational requirements, and management of a manufacturing facility.
• Fault finding and corrective actions
• Attending to reactive breakdowns and PPM
• To demonstrable analytical skills with sound problem solving ability
• Appreciation for TPM across production.
