MDE are hiring for this truly exciting role in Battery Storage. You will be a pivotal member of the team, supporting the development of the latest Battery Storage solutions.
The company are a start up with monumentous growth as well and has been awarded significant funding to develop existing and future products.
We are seeking a highly motivated Product Development Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing electrical/electronic power products such as: Hybrid Inverter, 48V battery, 72V battery, AC battery system and EV Charger. This individual will become a key member in the technical team, reporting directly to the CTO.
Responsibilities:
- Research and analyse market trends and customer needs to identify opportunities for product innovation - Work with various suppliers to develop products, taking into account customer needs, technical requirements, and industry standards
- Work with cross-functional teams, to ensure the successful development and implementation of products
- Manage product development projects, including defining project scope, scheduling, and budget
- ollaborate with suppliers and partners to ensure the effective implementation of Puredrive products Conduct testing and validation of products and systems to ensure their performance and reliability
- Ensure that all products are developed in compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in renewable technology and continuously evaluate opportunities for product improvement.
Required Skills and Attributes:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or similar experience
- 2 + years of experience in the design and development renewable technology
- Understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, as well as software development for renewable technology
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to renewable technology
- Experience with project management and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skill
