Are you a detail-oriented Continuous Improvement Engineer with a passion for driving operational excellence? MDE are partnering with a renowned company in search of a talented professional like you to join their team.
As a Continuous Improvement Engineer, you will play a crucial role in implementing Lean methodologies and driving process optimization to achieve exceptional results.
**Responsibilities:**
- Collaborate with the production team to identify areas for process improvement and waste reduction.
- Apply Lean tools and methodologies such as Value Stream Mapping and process mapping to analyze and optimize workflows.
- Assist in planning and implementing operational layouts to enhance efficiency using Lean tools like spaghetti diagrams.
- Actively participate in the development and execution of the companys Continuous Improvement strategy.
- Lead and facilitate Continuous Improvement initiatives, including SOPs, Kaizen events, and SMED activities.
- Monitor and report on the progress and impact of Continuous Improvement projects, identifying trends and areas for further improvement.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation and sustainability of Continuous Improvement practices.
- Provide training and support to employees at all levels on Lean principles and tools.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of process improvements, standard operating procedures, and best practices.
**Requirements:**
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Solid experience in implementing Continuous Improvement methodologies, such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify improvement opportunities within complex processes.
- Proficiency in using Lean tools and techniques, including Value Stream Mapping, process mapping, and 5S.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with teams at all levels of the organization.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Continuous Improvement certifications, such as Lean Six Sigma, are highly desirable.
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools, including Microsoft Office and process optimization software.
