MDE are looking for an experienced Commercial Director to join an established and rapidly growing manufacturing business. You will be a pivotal member of the strategic management team and will have direct influence on the future success of the company?

Key Responsibilities: -
- Explore and develop opportunities for new and additional business from OEM customers for the UK, Germany, and China.
- Responsible for maintaining current customer base and explore new opportunities and customers.
- Produce business specification documents, identify gaps and risks, and resolve issues.
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
- Achieve sales /profitability targets and overall financial objectives for commercial related accounts.
- Build and leverage strong relationships with key central customer contacts and act as the lead for strategic negotiations.
- Prepare plans, budgets and progress reports.
- Support customer meetings and visits at all levels regularly to ensure uniformity of communication with the customers.
- Develop goals, objectives and priorities and assign to the team.Keep up to date with recent market and industry trends, competitors and customer strategies.
- Identify unexpressed customer needs and potential products and/or services to meet those needs.
- Resolve and manage difficult situations with customers.
Qualifications & Experience: -
- Ideally Degree educated.
- At least 10+ years automotive commercial and sales experience in Tier 1 or OEM.
- Proven track record in developing and maintaining relationships with OEM customers.
- Fluent in German.
- Excellent selling, negotiation and communication.
- Financial Management Skills.
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office programmes.
- Clear and confident communicator.
- Ability to work calmly under pressure.
