MDE are hiring a Lead Engineer - Multidrive Systems to join a dynamic and innovative engineering firm that specializes in bespoke automation solutions for hevay indusrty. The ideal candidate will have systems engineering knowledge in Industrial Multidrive Systems, MV Drives in Heavy Industries such as Steel, Mining, Aggregates, O&G, Marine, Paper and Pulp etc
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Engineer with specialized knowledge in Multidrive Systems to join our team. As the Lead Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in [mention specific responsibilities, e.g., designing, testing, and optimizing drive systems for new or retrofit projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead a group of talented engineers to drive innovation and achieve project milestones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of engineers in the design, development, and implementation of drive systems.
- Provide technical expertise in the evaluation, selection, and integration of drive components and systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of drive systems into larger projects.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of drive systems to ensure performance and reliability meet or exceed specifications.
- Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in drive systems.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Minimum of BEng / BSE / Level 6 Apprenticeship in Electrical / Electronic Engineering
- Minimum of 7 years in a similar role
- Excellent understanding of electrical control systems
