MDE are supporting a global renewables company with a strong focus of solar, wind and energy storage grow their technical advisory team. The successful candidate will have technical knowledge surrounding the development, construction and asset management of renewable assets, providing support to the business development, operations, asset management and finance teams.

This an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of renewable technologies across numerous geographies and project stages in a consultancy capacity.

Responsibilities

• Understand and interpret clients needs, clearly communicating clients goals to internal and external stakeholders.
• Be responsible for end-to-end delivery of Advisory Services and projects including due diligence, owners engineering, and technical mission.
• Support growth and cost reduction targets.
• Undertake technical, project management, commercial, and customer-facing activities.
• Prepare and deliver presentations and reports for Asset management team and/or clients.
• Ensure appropriate contracts are agreed with clients and time and cost are accounted for accurately.
• Ensure quality of work meets clients expectations.
• Work with internal stakeholders, sub-contractors, and clients to deliver projects on time, on target, and on budget.
• Support development of proposals to secure new work.
• Take responsibility for financial performance of managed projects.
• Mentor and support less experienced team members.
• Identify and communicate relevant technological developments or regulatory changes.
• Work with clients to identify requirements and key points of contact.
• Attend client meetings and undertake site visits globally.

Experience and Qualifications

• Experience working with wind projects and/or assets in a consultancy environment providing technical advisory.
• Experience working across development, construction and asset management.
• Experience managing budgets and project costs
• Experience reviewing and preparing contractual agreements
• Experience writing and preparing reports
• Experience in a client facing role
• Degree or equivalent experience in engineering or business
• Have a valid driving license
