Finance and Administration Manager
Package: £70,000-75,000 + bonus
Location: Bristol, Reading or London - office based

The Finance and Administration Manager is in charge of overseeing the financial and administrative functions within the organisation. This includes managing financial operations, budgeting and forecasting, financial reporting, payroll and benefits administration, and general administrative tasks. The Finance and Administrator Manager will work closely with senior management to provide financial analysis, strategic planning, and administrative support to ensure efficient and effective operations.

Responsibilities

Accounting, banking, and tax

  • Provide commercial direction for optimizing the UKs performance as an active decision-maker in the UK management team.
  • Collaborate with an external accounting company to prepare financial statements and analysis.
  • oversee accounts payable and receivable.
  • Assist in financial and tax audits, ensuring local tax compliance.
  • comply with GAAP for financial statements and prepare quarterly financial reports based on IFRS norms for HQ.

Financial Analysis, Controlling, Budgeting, and Reporting

  • coordinate and be the reference for financial information across different business lines.
  • Prepare and interpret financial documents for managers, executives, and the international headquarters finance department.
  • assist in budget definition that is in line with the country managers and business lines set goals.
  • Responsible for defining and monitoring cash forecasts, in collaboration with local managers and with approval from the country manager.
  • Oversee controlling activities, including cost vs budget analysis and monthly reporting. Also manage analytical accounting and reporting for projects and contracts, support business line managers with cost analysis, and ensure production and analysis of reporting sent to the group based on IFRS norms. Additionally, manage accounting for activation costs and asset creation under IFRS rules in accordance with internal policies.

Educational requirements

  • 8 years of minimum experience in finance or accounting positions, preferably in global environments
  • Degree in Acounting, Finance or Business
  • proficient with accounting software and consolidation
  • Exceptional understanding of accounting, budgeting, cost accounting, and cost control
  • proficient in IFRS norms and reporting
