Corporate Finance & Treasury Manager - Renewable Project Finance

The Corporate Finance & Treasury Manager is responsible for overseeing the corporate finance affairs of the company with a focus on renewable energy projects. This includes managing project finance loan structuring, origination, and execution, as well as evaluating potential mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, and other equity-linked corporate exercises. The role also involves coordinating with internal departments, leading due diligence processes, and supporting ad hoc investment and business decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Manage project finance loan structuring, origination, documentation, and completion for renewable energy projects
- Originate various structured corporate loans, including equity loans
- Perform project debt capital market origination and execution, including bond, perpetual, and other structured investment products
- Lead the investment assessment process through financial/valuation modeling, board papers, and analysis of investment details
- Review and evaluate potential mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, and other equity-linked corporate exercises
- Manage relationships with corporate advisors, such as investment banks, solicitors, and regulatory bodies
- Explore investment opportunities in potential energy infrastructure projects, such as solar and wind
- Coordinate with internal departments on various matters, such as tax, finance, accounting, and operations
- Lead due diligence processes for corporate exercises involving internal and external parties
- Support ad hoc investment and business decisions
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree/Advanced Diploma in Accounting or Finance
- CFA charter holder and/or recognized accounting degree or finalist in Accounting Professional (e.g., ACCA/CIMA/CPA) is desirable
- At least 7 years of work experience (with at least 4 years in corporate finance) in Investment Banking/Big 4/Boutique M&A Advisory firms/Private Equity firms
- Exceptional proficiency with Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and valuations
- Proficient in the use of other Microsoft applications
- Knowledge and experience of accounting, tax, and legal matters will be a benefit
- Experience within the Renewables sector will be an added advantage
