Warehouse Operative and lead Support - Night Shift

Pay: £15.60 per hour (including holiday allowance)
Shift: Midnight to 8am, Monday to Friday
Type: Temp to perm opportunity

This is not a standard warehouse role. You will support the supervisor, help resolve issues on the shop floor, act as a key point of contact between teams and contribute to the smooth running of the night operation. You will also receive forklift training and handle scanning, sorting and system driven tasks.

What you will do
• Scan products with accuracy
• Operate the automated machinery after training
• Support stock flow and maintain an efficient workflow
• Act as the link between operatives and the supervisor, helping resolve issues on the shop floor
• Communicate clearly with internal teams and customers when required
• Keep the work area safe, tidy and compliant
• Learn and operate a forklift once trained

What you need
• Strong IT skills, particularly with scanners and basic systems
• Good communication, able to pass on information and support both teams
• Problem solving mindset, taking initiative on the shop floor
• Attention to detail, especially when scanning and sorting
• Reliability and the ability to work independently during night hours
• Previous warehouse experience is preferred

Overtime may be offered depending on volumes.
