Key Responsibilities for Warehouse Operative:
- Stock Management: Receiving, handling, and storing stock accurately.
- Order Picking: Preparing and completing orders for delivery according to schedule.
- Quality Control: Ensuring that products are not damaged and are stored correctly.
- Loading and Unloading: Assisting with the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles.
- Inventory: Keeping accurate records of inventory levels.
- Health & Safety: Adhering to safety guidelines and maintaining a clean work environment.
Additional Requirements for Warehouse Operative:
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and moving goods.
- Team Player: Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in order picking and stock management.
- Commuting: Please note that due to the business location not being on a bus route, own transportation is required.
- Ability to use a forklift (counterbalance) is advantageous.
Ideal Candidate:
- Vehicle: Own transport is essential due to the location not being on a recognized bus route.
- Warehouse Experience: Previous experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Able to use a forklift (counterbalance)
