Are you seeking a fresh opportunity in the HV industry? MDE Group is currently seeking talented Electrical Site Engineers to join a leading EPC. With the renewable market experiencing sustained expansion, this organisation is looking to expand its construction team.
You will be collaborating closely with the project management team to oversee on-site operations throughout the construction phase.
You will also be responsible to ensure timely completion of the project and adherence to the companys rigorous quality standards.
Role responsibilities:
- Conduct a thorough review and analysis of the engineering headquarters project designs, identifying any potential errors and communicating them to the Construction Manager.
- Provide regular verbal updates on construction progress and material receipts to the Construction/Project Manager.
- Manage the inventory of construction materials, ensuring that stock levels are adequate and appropriately utilized.
- Oversee subcontractor activities, ensuring adherence to the design and providing necessary supervision and support.
- Facilitate communication of design changes and updates to subcontractors and ensures compliance with them.
- Implement a project-specific quality control program and monitors subcontractor quality controls.
- Review and assesses the quality and precision of subcontractor installation work and reports any quality breaches to the Construction Manager with supporting evidence.
- Evaluate construction methods and assesses their cost-effectiveness based on prior experience.
- Investigate site damages, accidents, or delays and ensures appropriate procedures are followed.
- Support the implementation of corporate QHSE procedures.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Prior experience in the construction of Solar Power Plants is desirable.
- Holds a degree from a university or technical institution in Electrical Engineering.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Possesses advanced skills in the use of AutoCAD software.
- Exhibits outstanding organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
