EDM Programmer/Setter/Operator
Salary: Up to £20ph (Overtime available at a time and a half)
Hours of work: 37.75 per week.
Location: Cam and Dursley
MDE are currently looking for an EDM Programmer/Setter/Operator to join a machine shop in the Cam and Dursley area.
Ideally you will have experience using Agie Charmilles and Mitsubishi EDM spark and wire machines and be used to working to close tolerances.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Setting, Programming and Operation of Agie Charmilles and Mitsubishi Spark Erosion (EDM & WEDM) machines.
- Read & Interpret engineering drawings and be able to program accordingly.
- Work to tight tolerances from engineering drawings.
- Meet Customers specifications & requirements, correct drawing interpretation and accurate marking out of work.
- Ensuring that work meets quality & technical guidelines.
- Support and train apprentices/new colleagues
