Role: Civils Project Manager
Salary - £55,000-£65,000
Hours of work: Mon - Friday (40 hours)
Location: Remote with Site Travel

Summary:
As the Civil Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the Civil construction scope of a project on behalf of the company from conception through to completion and oversee a wide range of construction projects.
Role and responsibilities:
- Working as part of a team
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills
- Working on multiple projects simultaneously
- Be well-versed in all construction methodologies and can co-ordinate teams of various disciplines to achieve the best results.
- Minimising civil construction expenditure within the business wherever possible.
- Contributing to opportunities for cost savings across the business from a civil construction perspective.
- Assist in the development and improvement of the company Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental assurance system and policies from a Civil Construction perspective
- Maintain and develop competence level and technical skills to ensure delivery to high standards
- Maintain awareness of company Health & Safety policy and company policies and keep up to date on changes that impact your role
Required:
- HNC (Higher National Certificate) or equivalent in Civil Engineering management qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years experience in Project Management within construction
- Strong attention for detail and the ability to read and understand Civil construction drawings
- High level of numerical and IT skills including Microsoft word and Excel
- Familiar with contract and sub-contract documents terms and conditions
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Ability to act on own initiative and make decisions under pressure

- Previous job role working for a DNO (Distribution Network Operator)
- HNC/HND Electrical Engineering
- APM/Prince 2
