Summary:

As the Technical Sales Manager, you are instrumental in seamlessly managing customer interactions, securing profitable projects, and overseeing the sales pipeline. Reporting to the Managing Director, your responsibilities include driving new opportunities, winning orders aligned with company requirements, and fostering effective customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Seek and create new business opportunities.
  • Secure orders meeting technical and financial criteria.
  • Handle customer requests promptly and accurately.
  • Issue and follow up on quotations in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and present presentations with customers as needed.
  • Oversee and manage company sales activities.
  • Update systems to track sales pipeline progress.
  • Review and accept contracts in line with company criteria.
  • Provide leadership in recruiting, training, and developing staff.
  • Ensure the team meets set results and performance expectations.
  • Manage time, mileage records, and training requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues.
  • Implement areas of improvement.
  • Cultivate long-term relationships with customers and trading partners.
