Are you an experienced Commissioning Manager seeking an exciting opportunity? If so, this is the perfect role for you!

In this role you will be leading commissioning activities in the dynamic field of industrial & commercial battery & hybrid systems, including electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions, throughout the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

• Documentation Preparation: Create project documentation, including pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures.
• Contractor Coordination: Efficiently manage contractor and subcontractor activities during pre-commissioning and commissioning.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with project, engineering, and construction teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Safety Leadership: Lead health, safety, and environmental (HSE) efforts on-site, ensuring compliance with HSE Plan and conducting hazard/risk analysis.
• Commissioning Management: Oversee commissioning and testing teams, prepare progress reports, and coordinate commissioning schedules.

Role Overview:

As a Commissioning Manager, youll be based at project sites as required, overseeing and managing all commissioning duties on-site. Your responsibilities will include:

• Documentation and Handover: Prepare commissioning documentation and gather information for the client handover pack.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure commissioning processes follow health and safety procedures, supervise SATs, APs, and coordinate HV switching schedules.
• Successful Handover: Sign-off on the completion of commissioned activities, ensuring successful handover to the O&M team.
• HV Components: Commission HV components, including protective devices, relays, CTs, VTs, switchgear, RMUs, Transformers, Substations, and ancillary equipment.
• G99 Compliance: Ensure successful G99 commissioning activities, facilitating the projects connection in line with targeted dates, and manage snagging processes.

Experience and Skills Required:

• Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in delivering large-scale projects as a Commissioning Manager.
• Technical Qualifications: SAP High Voltage (APHV4) or equivalent qualification, with 4+ years of SAP experience, including switchgear installations.
• Supervisory Experience: Over 3 years of experience supervising Engineers in operational solar or similar projects.
• Commissioning Expertise: Ability to plan, author, and execute commissioning processes, including switch sequencing.
• Safety Awareness: Strong understanding of electrical safety, ability to prepare electrical safety rules, and H&S certification (SMSTS, IOSH, or NEBOSH).
