Position: Construction Delivery Project Manager - Solar & BESS

Location: SW to Midlands (on-site 1-2 days per week)

Competitive salary of £60,000-£70,000, plus car allowance, 25 days holiday, Bank holidays, and additional benefits

As a Construction Delivery Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the entire lifecycle of projects, from development and construction to commissioning and handover to Operations. Collaborate with a talented team to define project scopes, plan and monitor progress, and ensure construction milestones and budgets are met. Your expertise will help manage multiple projects and ensure their success through regular on-site inspections.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and empower high-performing teams to achieve business objectives
• Define and document RFPs, scopes of work, and manage subcontractor selection
• Conduct due diligence on potential solar sites and review design drawings
• Effectively manage project schedules, change requests, and permitting processes
• Take charge of project status meetings and coordinate with stakeholders
• Ensure project quality control and strict compliance with contract terms
• Develop and implement internal operating policies and standards
• Review budgets, cost projections, and deliver regular financial reports

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum of 4 years project management experience, specializing in EPC construction
• Strong technical knowledge in civil, electrical, and structural disciplines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, CPM scheduling, and project management software (Microsoft Project or Primavera P6)
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with impressive presentation abilities
• Demonstrated ability to achieve business objectives, comprehend contracts, manage budgets and cost projections, and analyze project performance

Desirable Qualifications and Skills:

• PMP certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) preferred, but not required
• Bachelors degree in engineering, project management, construction management, or equivalent
• Display exceptional organizational skills through clear project plans and executive-level reporting
• Exhibit strong leadership and negotiation abilities for effective team motivation and relationship building
