We are currently seeking an Electrical Project Manager who is willing to travel within the UK and work flexible hours as needed.

Duties and responsibilities:

• The role entails managing and delivering a diverse range of electrical HV projects with effective project management and client liaison.
• This includes creating and managing project construction programs, attending site meetings, inspections, and audits to monitor progress and quality.
• Additionally, managing the commercial aspects of projects, adhering to health and safety regulations, and ensuring project compliance through risk assessments and safety audits. Managing internal and external resources to meet project goals and maintain relationships with clients and supply chain partners.
• Supervising in-house design and engineering teams, liaising with suppliers and manufacturers, and attending pre-start, kick-off, and ongoing client meetings.
• Procurement for projects, budget planning and management, organizing logistics of materials and equipment, and identifying resourcing requirements.
• Organizing project briefings for on-site management and completing project review documentation.
• Providing support and guidance on statutory requirements and company standards to all parties involved.
• Managing the interface between business, clients, and network operator commissioning and third-party engineers while projecting a professional image to clients and colleagues.

Essential Criteria:

• To be considered for this role, you should have a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in Project Management within the electrical contracting or utility industries.
• You must have experience in managing projects from a similar industry and possess excellent communication and influencing skills at all levels.
• You should be able to work effectively under pressure and identify compliance shortfalls or engineering opportunities within designs.
• Additionally, you should be able to plan ahead and prioritize workload, manage multiple time-pressured tasks, and follow business processes.
• The position requires travel on work-related business throughout the UK, with occasional overnight stays.
• Therefore, you must hold a full UK driving licence.
