Overview:
My client is a self-sufficient consultancy specialising in engineering and sustainability. Their expertise in technical design and hands-on implementation enables us to provide outstanding services in construction buildings developing products and devising corporate strategies.
As a member of a growing department and reporting to the Head of ESG, your primary focus will be on evaluating the whole life carbon impact of commercial properties.
Key responsibilities will include:
Conducting a range of assessments on various commercial properties such as offices, retail outlets, industrial buildings, and PRS accommodations. This will involve performing due diligence surveys, monitoring development progress, managing projects, creating net zero asset plans, developing refurbishment and development standards, and more.
- Taking ownership of assigned projects and completing them within set deadlines with the assistance of an experienced management team.
- Engaging with clients directly, building relationships and securing further instructions.
- Supporting the preparation of fee bids, delivering presentations, and briefing clients.
Requirements for the position:
- Demonstrated experience in delivering Whole Life Carbon assessments or Life Cycle Assessments (LCA).
- Strong client-facing skills.
- Genuine interest in sustainability and ESG, with a keen interest in developing skills in this area.
Desirable qualifications and skills:
- Relevant ESG or Sustainability qualifications.
- Proficiency in OneClick, IES, energy modelling software, BREEAM, net zero pathways or building performance.
