MDE Group are proud to support an expanding specialist manufacturer, part of a £multibillion international group, as they seek a Quality Assurance Engineer to help drive continuous improvement activities and improve product quality.
On offer is a position with a well-established business offering a close-knit working environment and long-term stability where you will ensure compliance with ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001.
The business is a manufacturer of industrial equipment, serving the Nuclear, Oil and Gas, Defence sectors and heavy industry. With a strong order book and plans to move into a new site, they require a Quality Assurance Engineer with a background in the highly regulated manufacturing sector to ensure their policies and procedures are implemented in line with the business ambitions.
The role will see you supporting key projects - working to reduce COPQ across the business. You will maintain the Integrated Management System, conduct internal audits and drive continuous improvements to improve quality and drive profitability for the business.

The Role
* Quality Assurance Engineer
* Ensure standards are met to meet customer specifications
* Investigate and identify root causes of quality problems
* Control plans, inspections and test plans (ITP) and advanced product quality planning (APQP)

The Person
* ISO9001 Lead Assessor qualification, has conducted internal audits
* Experience of problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, DMAIC, Ishikawa, 5 Whys
* Experience of working in highly regulated manufacturing environment
