MDE Group are proud to support an expanding specialist manufacturer, part of a £multibillion international group, as they seek an IT Systems and Security Administrator to help maintain successful operations and ensure security of the supported business applications.
On offer is a position with a well-established over 100-year-old, expanding manufacturer offering a close knit working environment and long term stability.
The business is a manufacturer of industrial equipment, serving the Nuclear, Oil and Gas, Defence sectors and heavy industry. With a strong order book and plans to move into a new site, they require an IT Systems and Security Administrator to ensure their policies and procedures are implemented in line with the business ambitions.
The role will see you maintaining estate security in line with industry best practice and Cyber Essentials Plus requirements. You will manage in-house computer systems /network to ensure high levels of availability and security of the business applications.

The Role
* IT Systems and Security Administrator
* Provide 3rd line end user support
* Manage internal network infrastructure including Cisco switches, WAN connections, CheckPoint Firewalls
* Take ownership of the Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation process

The Person
* Excellent knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Cyber Essentials Plus Scheme
* Strong understanding of networking and how local IT networks are set up
* Knowledge of Windows Server, Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services, VMware vSphere, Storage Area Network Solutions, Microsoft 365
