MDE Group are proud to support an expanding specialist manufacturer, part of a £multibillion international group as they seek a continuous improvement lead to help them to achieve a world-class manufacturing facility.
On offer is a challenging role strategic role where you will provide continuous improvement leadership for a successful growing business with ambitions to move into a new purpose-built, state of the art facility.
The business is a manufacturer of industrial equipment, serving the Nuclear, Oil and Gas, Defence sectors and heavy industry. With a strong order book and plans to move into a new site, they require a Lead Mechanical Design Engineer to help spearhead NPD initiatives.
The role will see you supporting and executing a lean strategy improvement program, driving continuous improvements to support the attainment of world class manufacturing status. You will support assembly and manufacturing processes, targeting quality improvements and product cost reductions.

* Demonstrable track record of applying CI and lean principles
* Experience in implementing and effectively facilitating Continuous Improvement tools and techniques
