MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages/responsible for the build plan, reporting all and any key issues and considerations, that might impact delivery to the Leadership Team.
- Develops close working relationship with build partners and suppliers to ensure a smooth delivery which is both on time and to budget.
- Develops close working relationship stakeholders to ensuring all necessary approvals are in place to allow works to commence.
- Support the Customer Director ensuring they have all necessary information/progress will all aspects of the build process
- Support the Planning Team by using experience, knowledge and skill to ensure sites are feasible, especially in relation to the DNO connection and IET CoP.
- Feed any requested/agreed information to the PMO Team within the agreed timeframe.
- Delivery of all required project metrics/reports to the required standards and in a timely fashion.
- Lead in defining the delivery programme plan.
- Support the project from a Heath & Safety prospect, ensuring the project is being delivered safely and in line will all and any regulations set out by the HSE

- Ability to handle large volumes of site verification requests (DNO and IET CoP).

Experience
- Proven experience: as a build manager in the UK, ideally within a similar sized business or one that has been through a similar journey
- Ideally the candidate would have proven experience in electric vehicle infrastructure deployment.
- Expertise working in the public highways (including a good understanding of Section 50s licenses) in addition to the deployment of power and fixed telecommunication infrastructure
- Experience with street lighting infrastructure roll out and maintenance.
- Proven experience / understanding of DNO related activities including cable location, sizing and identification procedures.
- Experience of document management.
- Experience in delivering a plan using supply chain.
