Managing Director - Renewable Energy Investments - New York

You will collaborate with the executive team to create a comprehensive strategy for the companys renewable energy investments, identifying key opportunities and areas for growth. Alongside this you will be expected to conduct in-depth market research to assess the potential of renewable energy investments, staying up to date with industry trends, regulations, and emerging opportunities.
You will bring experience in developing financial models and performing due diligence on potential investments, ensuring their alignment with the companys financial objectives. A key part of this role is implementing risk assessment processes to mitigate potential investment risks, while identifying ways to optimise returns. In the long-run, you will seek to build, develop, and manage a high-performing team responsible for executing the companys renewable energy investment strategy.
As MD - Renewable Energy Investments, you will build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including partners, investors, and government entities. You will also ensure that all investments and activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards. This includes providing regular, detailed reports to the executive team and board of directors on the performance of your division.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field, with an MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Extensive experience (at least 10 years) in renewable energy investments, including leadership roles in a relevant industry.
- Proven track record of successful deal sourcing, negotiation, and execution.
- Strong network in the renewable energy sector and demonstrated ability to form strategic partnerships.
- Financial acumen and experience with complex financial modelling.
