Renewable Energy Engineer

Location: office base at Wadebridge but various sites around the UK

Duration: Full time

We seek a self-motivated renewable energy engineer to join an existing team and assist with the installation of Photovoltaic systems, as well as operations and maintenance on multiple UK sites.

We develop, construct, and maintain Solar PV and Wind Turbine renewable energy systems across the United Kingdom. Our industry-leading in-house team of engineers, planners, and project managers offer a comprehensive 360-degree service, incorporating all areas of the project development process and guaranteeing that we are always one step ahead.

This one-of-a-kind strategy enables us to handle every project head-on, utilising in-house resources to provide an all-encompassing solution.

This role will require knowledge of PV systems and flexibility to work intensely for certain periods of time anywhere in the country.

Essential requirements:

• Previous experience in renewables, roof work or general construction
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Methodical, accurate and process focussed approach to tasks
• Flexibility for working throughout the UK, including evenings and weekends
• Driving licence

Desired skills and qualifications:

• Previous solar PV instillation experience
• Telehandler ticket
• MEWP 3a & 3b ticket
• Working at heights
• Manual handling
• Level 2 Health and Safety in the workplace
• CSCS card
